Transferring Credits to SCC
Please refer to the current Salem Community College Catalog for the transfer credit policy.
Eligible credits can be obtained from:
- AP exams, CLEP exams, or IB exams
- dual credit courses at your high school
- another college or university
Transfer credit may be granted provided that:
- you obtained a grade of C or better in the course
- the course has not exceeded the allowed time period for transfer at SCC
- the credits were awarded by an accredited institution
Important Information
- Students must submit an official transcript or an official score report to Salem Community College in order to process requests for transfer credits.
- Credits may not be transferred for courses that must be taken at SCC.
